Role: Senior Executive - Supply Chain Analyst

Base location: Navi Mumbai, India


Job Summary

The Supply Chain Analytics Analyst will support pharmaceutical supply chain operations by delivering data-driven insights across demand planning, inventory management, manufacturing, distribution, and compliance-driven processes. The role focuses on improving service levels, reducing supply risk, and ensuring regulatory-compliant decision-making across the pharma value chain.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain data across formulation, packaging, distribution, and logistics
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs aligned with service level, inventory, and transportation costs.
  • Support demand forecasting and supply planning for regulated pharmaceutical products
  • Perform inventory optimization considering shelf life, inventory turns and maintaining stock freshness.
  • Monitor OTIF, fill rate, backorders, and stock-out risks across markets
  • Support S&OP / IBP processes with analytical insights and scenario modeling
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for supply disruptions, shortages, deviations etc.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency in ERP and planning systems in compliance with GxP standards
  • Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Commercial teams
  • Prepare management presentations and decision-support analytics


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field, Qualified / Intermediate CA.
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MS in Supply Chain, Analytics, or Industrial Engineering)
  • 2–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain analytics or planning
  • Strong understanding of pharma supply chain processes and regulatory constraints
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP & planning systems (SAP APO/IBP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder)
  • Knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, and distribution analytics
