Supply Chain Analyst

Job Title : Supply Chain Analyst – Planning & Analytics

Experience : 4-6 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Work hands-on with SAP planning systems (IBP / APO / S/4) and/or Kinaxis Rapid Response to extract, analyze, and validate planning data.

• Develop a deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain data models across demand, supply, and inventory planning domains.

• Analyze and interpret demand planning KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, MAPE, BIAS, service levels, and inventory metrics.

• Translate complex business problem statements into structured analytical requirements and measurable outputs.

• Partner closely with business stakeholders and analytics teams to ensure alignment between data, insights, and decision-making.

• Support continuous improvement by identifying data gaps, inconsistencies, and process inefficiencies within planning datasets.

• Contribute to best-practice documentation, reusable queries, and standard analytical frameworks to improve team self-sufficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical & Functional Skills

• Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP planning modules (IBP / APO / S/4) and/or Kinaxis Rapid Response.

• Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts, including demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management.

• Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing planning KPIs and metrics such as MAPE, BIAS, Forecast Accuracy, inventory turns, and service levels.

• Solid experience in data analysis and problem-solving within a supply chain or planning context.

• Working knowledge of SQL and experience with ETL/ELT processes is a strong advantage.

• Familiarity with analytical and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar) is preferred.

• Ability to convert business requirements into structured analytical solutions.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data quality, accuracy, and governance.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

Experience & Education • 4–6 years of relevant experience in supply chain analytics, planning, or data-focused roles.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
