Due to company growth, MityLite is adding a Supply Chain Coordinator to the team!
The Supply Chain Coordinator will support purchasing, logistics, inventory management, and production planning activities to ensure smooth and efficient flow of materials and finished goods.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist with purchase order tracking, and follow-up with suppliers
- Support logistics coordination, including sales order shipment quotes, and monitoring shipment status
- Help team identify shortages or excess stock
- Work closely with new product development team on the coordination of product launches
- Assist in data entry, reporting, and analysis of supply chain metrics (lead times, stock levels, vendor performance)
- Communicate with suppliers and freight partners to resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, or documentation
- Participate in supply chain improvement initiatives and support process documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
- Assist in monitoring supplier performance and help address quality or delivery issues
- Support root cause investigation and corrective action tracking for supplier quality issues
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards
- Support coordination of logistics to ensure on-time and accurate customer shipments
- Assist in resolving customer shipment issues in collaboration with the logistics and customer services teams
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Strong project management skills, ability to management a project from inception to completion
- Basic knowledge of supply chain principles (procurement, logistics, and inventory)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP or MRP system experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the supply chain field (preferred)
- Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills (preferred)
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
