Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Supply Chain Engineer to join our team. The role involves managing procurement, logistics, vendor development, and supply chain optimization for engineering and EPC projects. This hybrid position offers flexibility to work remotely while attending periodic site visits and vendor meetings near Nagercoil.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support project execution and delivery.

· Manage procurement activities, including RFQs, bid evaluations, and purchase order finalization.

· Identify, qualify, and develop vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.

· Coordinate with engineering, construction, and project management teams to align material requirements.

· Monitor inventory levels and optimize material planning to prevent delays or shortages.

· Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, client specifications, and international standards.

· Track supplier performance and implement continuous improvement measures.

· Oversee logistics, transportation, and customs clearance for local and international shipments.

· Prepare supply chain reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.

· 3–8 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in oil & gas or EPC projects.

· Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and logistics operations.

· Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management tools.

· Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

· Understanding of international trade regulations and import/export documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
