- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers for materials and services.
- Ensure timely procurement based on production and sales requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory.
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams for accurate stock updates.
- Implement FIFO / LIFO systems and minimize wastage or stock-outs.
- Plan and manage transportation, dispatch, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with logistics partners for timely delivery to customers or branches.
- Track shipments and resolve any delivery or transport issues.
- Liaise with production and planning teams to ensure material availability.
- Support production schedules by aligning supply and demand forecasts.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, stock, and dispatch.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly supply chain reports.
- Ensure compliance with documentation, billing, and GST norms.
- Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements.
- Support automation and system updates (ERP / Tally / SAP, etc.).
