Job Summary
The Supply Chain Management Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory control, logistics, and vendor management, to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, storage, and distribution
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability
- Track purchase orders and follow up on deliveries
- Coordinate with production, stores, and logistics teams to meet operational requirements
- Evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery timelines
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Prepare and maintain supply chain reports, MIS, and documentation
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Handle logistics arrangements and transportation coordination
- Support audits related to inventory and procurement
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics (industry-specific as applicable)
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/SAP systems
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial supply chain
- Knowledge of import/export procedures (if applicable)
- Understanding of cost control and budgeting
