Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Supply Chain Management located in Bengaluru. The selected

candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of supply chain operations,including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and vendor relations.Key responsibilities include optimizing operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, overseeing the procurement process, managing relationships with stakeholders, and leading a team to achieve operational efficiency and excellence.

Key Roles & Responsibilities.

· Plan and manage procurement of fabrics, trims, accessories, and packaging

· Ensure timely material availability as per production plans

· Monitor vendor performance, quality, and compliance

· Oversee raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory

· Control stock levels, minimize excess and dead stock

· Implement proper inward, outward, DC, GRN, and stock reconciliation

· Ensure accurate inventory reporting in ERP / Tally

· Manage inbound and outbound logistics

· Ensure dispatch as per ASN, DC, invoice, and delivery schedules

· Coordinate with transporters and warehouses for smooth movement of goods

· Control logistics costs and reduce transit delays

· Prepare supply chain plans aligned with sales forecasts

· Monitor and control material cost, job work cost, logistics cost

· Improve process efficiency and reduce lead time

· Support management in costing and margin improvement

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,

· Strong knowledge of procurement processes.

· Ability to develop strategic plans for supply chain efficiency

· Sourcing New vendor development

· Experience in vendor management & inventory

· Vendor performance evaluation

· Cost benefits analysis

· Understanding of logistics and distribution Management.

· Familiarity with ERP systems and other supply chain software.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for optimizing operations.

· Excellent leadership and team management Capabilities.

· Ability to develop strategic plans for supply chain efficiency.

· Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, , or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Proven experience in procurement, warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics.
• At least 3–5 years in a leadership role managing teams and supply chain operations.
