Qualification

Responsibilities

Establish supply chain goals, KPIs, and performance metrics to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Supplier Management:

Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Conduct supplier audits and assessments to maintain high standards in the supply chain.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
Procurement:

Oversee procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and components.

Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Collaborate with the finance department to manage procurement budgets and control costs.
Logistics and Inventory Management:

Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.

Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability of materials for production.
Production Coordination:

Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities with production processes.

Address and resolve any supply chain-related issues that impact production schedules and product quality.

Ensure clear communication and alignment with all stakeholders regarding supply chain requirements and expectations.
Compliance and Standards:

Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant aerospace industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.

Develop and maintain supply chain documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.

Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Continuous Improvement:

Champion continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management (TQM).

Identify and implement best practices to enhance supply chain processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.

Drive initiatives to reduce supply chain costs, increase efficiency, and improve overall operational performance.
Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain operations, including supply disruptions, quality issues, and cost fluctuations.

Monitor global market trends and economic conditions to anticipate and address potential supply chain challenges.
Collaboration and Communication:
