Procurement & Sourcing

• Source and evaluate international suppliers for LED drivers, PCBs, COBs, lenses, MCPCBs, heat sinks, transformers, SMPS components, ICs, MOSFETs, capacitors, connectors, etc.
• Identify cost-effective and quality-approved component manufacturers in China, Taiwan, Korea, and other regions.
• Request & analyze quotations, compare techno-commercial parameters, and prepare cost sheets.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

B. Import Operations

• Coordinate with overseas suppliers for PI (Proforma Invoice), HS codes, packaging details, and shipment documents.
• Ensure proper documentation:
• Commercial Invoice
• Packing List
• Certificate of Origin
• BL/AWB
• Insurance
• MSDS (if required)
• Follow up for dispatch schedules, tracking shipments till arrival.
• Coordinate with CHA (Custom House Agent) for customs clearance.
• Maintain compliance with DGFT, Custom Duties, and import regulations.

C. Inventory & Planning

• Plan material procurement based on production schedules and forecast.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Update ERP/Purchase module for PO release, GRN, and stock levels.
• Conduct supplier performance review.

D. Cost, Quality & Vendor Management

• Conduct landed cost calculations including freight, duty, tax, CHA charges.
• Evaluate supplier quality through specifications, test reports, and sample approvals.
• Manage vendor databases and strengthen long-term supplier relationships.

E. Coordination & Reporting

• Collaborate with R&D for component specifications and BoM understanding.
• Work with QC team for inspection and quality approval of imported materials.
• Prepare weekly MIS reports for:
• Import status
• Material arrival schedule
• Purchase summary
• Price comparison
• Vendor payment tracking

3. Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of LED lighting components & power electronics parts.
• Understanding of global sourcing, international logistics & import documentation.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets expertise.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Odoo, Tally Prime ERP, etc.).
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and vendors.

4. Qualifications

• Graduate / Diploma in Electronics or Supply Chain.
• 2–5 years experience in import purchase (electronics/LED/power electronics preferred).
• Knowledge of Customs Duty Structure, IGST, HS codes, and INCOTERMS.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
