Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and improve our end-to-end supply chain operations—from purchasing materials to coordinating production and distribution between our Lincoln headquarters and Omaha sales shop. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to make a meaningful impact in a growing, tight-knit company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement and inventory of garments, thread, inks, and other production materials.
- Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely purchasing.
- Oversee inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Coordinate logistics between Lincoln production and Omaha sales shop.
- Forecast material needs based on seasonal demand and sales trends.
- Work closely with production, sales, and design teams to align timelines and ensure on-time order fulfillment.
- Negotiate vendor contracts and monitor supplier performance.
- Implement and maintain supply chain best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support production scheduling to meet customer deadlines and maintain quality standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements in purchasing, receiving, and fulfillment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, inventory control, or operations (experience in apparel, printing, or manufacturing preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (experience with QuickBooks, Fishbowl, or similar systems a plus).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with vendor management and logistics coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
