Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. This role involves overseeing procurement, logistics, inventory management, and production planning to ensure seamless flow of materials and products. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in ERP systems, process improvement methodologies, and supply chain analytics to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.

UPDATE: This is an all inclusive role for a supply chain manager with direct reports, supervisors/leads, and indirect reports. Overall skills and tasks needed include sourcing & procurement along with current vendor negotiations, overseeing warehousing, material handlers & shipping receiving, purchasing & material delivery flow, inventory & cycle counting, team building and development, process establishment, development, and improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals, utilizing tools such as ERP/MRP systems, Office 365, and various other business programs.
  • Oversee procurement processes including purchasing, supplier management, and demand planning to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Manage inventory control and inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Lead logistics operations, coordinating transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Utilize data analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, and supply chain analytics tools to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, Kaizen events, and root cause analysis.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance manufacturing workflows, reduce cycle times, and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, production planning, and procurement to align supply chain activities with production schedules.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, inventory accuracy, and delivery performance.
  • Lead root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies and develop corrective action plans.

Experience

  • Proven experience in supply chain management within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, infor Syteline, Power BI, SQL databases, and other supply chain software tools.
  • Strong background in process improvement methodologies including Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, MRP systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets using tools like Tableau and Power BI for actionable insights.
  • Experience managing procurement processes including purchasing, demand planning, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production planning principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis to resolve supply chain issues efficiently.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence cross-functional teams toward operational excellence. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,413.62 - $145,960.48 per year
