The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain process — including vendor management, material planning, BOM accuracy, warehousing coordination, and MRP execution. This role ensures that materials and components are sourced, delivered, and available in alignment with production schedules, cost targets, and quality expectations. Although this is an individual contributor position initially, it carries the strategic responsibility of managing the supply chain function and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring alignment with engineering and production requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost-effectiveness of purchased materials.
  • Execute and manage the company’s Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks, delivery issues, and material shortages proactively.
  • Work closely with production, procurement, and warehousing to support smooth operations and efficient material flow.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier performance, inventory accuracy, and lead time adherence.
  • Support strategic sourcing efforts, including vendor evaluation, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with finance and operations teams to ensure alignment on cost management and inventory valuation.
  • Lead supply planning meetings and communicate material readiness and risks to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support ERP/MRP data integrity and process improvement initiatives.
  • All other duties assigned .

Required Skills And Attributes

  • Strong knowledge of BOMs, MRP/ERP systems, and inventory control principles.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and vendor negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, materials management, or procurement in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

  • This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 100+ lbs , bending, stooping, computer work, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations .
