Supply Chain Manager

Overview

Nehemiah Holdings DBA Cable Quest & Apogee Controls seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager. This role can be substantially performed remotely but will require significant time at each of our three facilities—Ball Ground, GA; Warner Robins, GA; and Fort Smith, AR—especially during the first year to gain hands-on knowledge of our processes and production operations.

Scope
The Supply Chain Manager oversees and optimizes the entire supply chain process, ensuring efficiency, value, and timely delivery of goods and services supporting the delivery of our WOW Customer Service brand promise in a manner consistent with our company values.

Requirements

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field is required. An unrelated degree with a professional certification (e.g., CSCP) may be considered.
• Experience: Relevant work experience in procurement, inventory management, logistics, or operations is essential.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage supplier relationships and collaborate with various departments.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain software and ERP systems to streamline operations and improve visibility

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics roles with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory management.
• Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs across the supply chain network.
• Procurement and Sourcing: Build collaborative relationships with our strategic suppliers to derive the highest possible total value. Manage all supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the procurement of high-quality materials at competitive prices.
• Inventory Control: Optimize inventory management processes, including demand planning and stock replenishment, to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze supply chain performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with operations, sales, and finance to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to work in a sedentary environment and stand, sit, and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
• Able to see small details on a computer screen or paper documents.
• Able to type, use a mouse and manipulate other office equipment with precision.
• Able to coordinate hand and eye movements while typing or performing other tasks.
• Able to wear all Personal Protection Equipment such as safety goggles and closed-toed shoes when required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
