Supply Chain Manager

Aseel Sohar International L.L.C is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations for our tissue paper manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for managing procurement, inventory, production planning, and logistics to ensure the efficient flow of materials and finished goods. The position reports to the Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production schedules based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
• Manage the procurement of raw materials, including pulp and packaging, from approved vendors.
• Oversee inventory control procedures for raw materials and finished goods, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure material availability and optimize machine utilization.
• Plan and manage the storage and dispatch of finished goods from the warehouse.
• Liaise with logistics providers and transportation companies to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
• Monitor supply chain performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and procurement costs.
• Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to prevent production disruptions.
• Manage and develop a team of inventory, procurement, and logistics staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Supply Chain Manager, Operations Manager, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrable experience with production planning, inventory management, and procurement.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze data and create reports on supply chain performance.
• Experience in managing and leading a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse and logistics environment is required.
