Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor Management
- Identify, onboard, and manage vendors for uniforms, books, stationery, and learning kits
- Negotiate pricing, SLAs, quality standards, and delivery timelines
- Set up annual rate contracts and long-term vendor partnerships
- Track vendor performance on cost, quality, timelines, and responsiveness
Planning & Forecasting
- Work with school leaders to collect student strength and grade-wise demand
- Build production and purchase forecasts aligned with the academic calendar
- Create buffer plans to handle last-minute changes and surge demands
Drop-Shipment & Fulfilment
- Manage a drop-shipment model with direct delivery to schools/students
- Ensure correct packaging and labelling (school-wise / grade-wise / student-wise)
- Track dispatches and ensure timely last-mile delivery with POD
Logistics & Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with courier and transport partners across locations
- Maintain virtual inventory visibility across vendors
- Manage logistics for remote and high-risk locations during peak season
Quality Control
- Define quality standards for uniforms, books, and learning materials
- Conduct random audits during production and dispatch
- Handle quality escalations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
Systems & Reporting
- Work with ERP/OMS tools for order tracking and vendor performance
- Maintain dashboards for order status, SLAs, costs, and complaints
- Ensure documentation for contracts, compliance, and vendor records
Cost & Budget Control
- Manage supply chain operations within approved budgets
- Optimize packaging, logistics, and production costs
- Control wastage, excess inventory, and reverse logistics
Stakeholder & Team Coordination
- Coordinate with Principals, school admins, finance, and vendors
- Train school teams on SOPs for receiving and verification
- Lead and manage a small internal supply chain team

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
