Supply Chain Manager

As Supply Chain Manager, you will translate global demand signals into clear and executable site-level production and inventory plans. You will ensure data integrity, optimize warehouse and logistics operations, and balance supply and demand to meet service, cost, and efficiency targets.

Acting as the local owner of the S&OP process, you will serve as the key link between commercial priorities, global supply chain strategies, procurement activities, and the operational realities of the site.

The role reports directly to the Site Manager with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Global Supply Chain Organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate global demand forecasts into site-level production plans.
• Balance supply constraints with customer requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels to optimize service and cost performance.
• Ensure effective material management and cost-efficient sourcing in collaboration with Global Procurement.
• Coordinate with Global and local Procurement teams to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and support corrective actions when needed.
• Support cost optimization initiatives through effective material planning and supplier collaboration.
• Participate in supplier risk evaluations and contingency planning activities.
• Ensure alignment between purchasing activities, inventory targets, and production requirements.
• Maintain accurate production, material, and warehouse master data.
• Safeguard data integrity across ERP and planning systems.
• Support S&OP cycles with reliable and validated data inputs.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics and daily warehouse operations.
• Implement and maintain inventory accuracy programs (cycle counts, audits).
• Optimize storage capacity and material flow.
• Ensure warehouse and logistics operations comply with site safety standards.
• Conduct safety audits in storage and material handling areas.
• Train teams on safe material handling and forklift operations.
• Integrate safety considerations into planning decisions.
• Lead planning and warehouse teams with clear accountability and ownership.
• Develop analytical and problem-solving capabilities within the team.
• Foster collaboration between planning, production, logistics, and procurement functions.
• Support talent development and succession planning within the supply chain organization.
• Partner closely with Production to align capacity and scheduling.
• Collaborate with global supply chain teams on demand and supply planning.
• Coordinate with commercial teams to manage customer priorities.
• Report planning accuracy, inventory health, and operational KPIs to site leadership.

  What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics, procurement, or materials management within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Experience in plastic or packaging industry is preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of S&OP, inventory management, purchasing coordination, and production planning processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and data-driven decision making.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive mindset with strong analytical and continuous improvement capabilities.
