Supply Chain Manager (General Procurement)

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager (General Procurement) to oversee end-to-end procurement operations, vendor management, and material sourcing for our denim garment manufacturing setup. The role requires ensuring cost efficiency, timely availability of goods, and compliance with quality and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of all general items including fabrics, trims, accessories, chemicals, machinery spares, and indirect materials.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships to ensure reliable and timely supply.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to optimize value.
• Monitor purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate closely with production, quality, and finance teams for smooth supply chain operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, buyer requirements, and sustainability standards.
• Implement digital procurement practices and process automation for efficiency.
• Prepare regular procurement reports, cost analyses, and supplier performance reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in procurement/supply chain (preferably in denim or textile industry).
• Strong knowledge of local and international sourcing, import/export regulations, and cost control.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
