Supply Chain Operations (Factory Manager)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a leading Paints and Coatings Manufacturing company in Pakistan seeking an experienced Supply Chain leader to drive and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. If you bring expertise in demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution — ideally in the Chemicals, Paints, or Pharmaceuticals industry — we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Demand & Supply Planning

• Develop accurate demand forecasts in collaboration with Sales & Marketing
• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory
• Ensure raw material availability to support production schedules

Inventory Management

• Optimize inventory turnover while minimizing carrying costs
• Implement ABC analysis and safety stock strategies for critical materials
• Reduce obsolete stock through effective planning and liquidation strategies

Logistics & Distribution

• Manage inbound & outbound logistics (3PL partners, transporters)
• Optimize transportation routes to reduce lead times and costs
• Ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery to customers

Warehouse Operations

• Oversee warehouse layout for efficient storage of raw materials & finished goods
• Implement FIFO for perishable raw materials
• Ensure compliance with safety & hazardous material handling standards

Manufacturing Coordination

• Collaborate with Production teams to align raw material availability with schedules
• Monitor WIP inventory to prevent bottlenecks in the manufacturing process
• Optimize batch planning for paint production to minimize downtime
• Implement Just-in-Time (JIT) principles where applicable

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Track and report KPIs; implement corrective actions proactively
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste across the supply chain
• Collaborate with Production & Quality teams to minimize disruptions

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a closely related field
• 10–15 years of experience in supply chain management (Paints, Chemicals, or Pharmaceuticals preferred)
• Strong expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or ERPNext)
• Proven track record managing 3PL partners, warehousing, and distribution operations
• Behavioral competencies: Accountability, Collaboration, Transparency, and Stretch
