The Role

The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for managing the full Purchase Order lifecycle — from planning and creation to active monitoring and follow-up. This includes validating order quantities and ensuring accuracy in calculations and placing orders in the required systems promptly and correctly. The planner will also be responsible for stock availability and reduce the amount of stock outs. Also responsible for coordinating clear and timely communication with the internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process owner for Purchase Order creation
  • Plan and manage Purchase Orders accordingly to minimize out of stocks / maximise service levels
  • Keep ERP updated at all stages in the process
  • To ensure all import documentation is up-to-date and transmitted on time to all relevant parties
  • Create Purchase Orders in ERP in-line with the agreed purchasing rules
  • Verifying order confirmation vs Purchase order (product, quantity, prices, availability)
  • Highlight variance of the shipping docs vs Purchase Order (product, quantity, prices, availability)
  • Ensure ERP is always up to date with correct ETD, ETA
  • Follow up on PO confirmation


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics/ Business Management / Supply Chain.
  • Experience working with an ERP
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office 365
  • Knowledge of International purchasing and Logistics
  • Previous experience of FMCG environments and products
  • Process oriented with systematic approach to issues.


Desirable Skills

  • Confident, Proactive individual with balanced pragmatic view for service delivery with a resilient personality
  • Travel retail experience
  • Prior S&OP/IBP experience
  • Beverage Industry experience
