Position Overview
As the
Supply Chain Planner
, you will be responsible for achieving customer fulfillment targets through accurate demand forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment execution across the supply network. This role plays a key part in optimizing inventory levels, improving supply chain efficiency, and supporting Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. Success requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to balancing supply and demand in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration meetings with stakeholders to review sales and purchase forecasts, proposed orders, and operational challenges.

Monitor weekly production schedules; recommend expedites, deferrals, or adjustments as needed to meet demand.

Build strong working relationships with transportation teams, warehouse supervisors, and internal departments to enhance overall supply chain performance.

Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including forecast accuracy, fulfillment rate, and inventory turnover.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes, material availability, and service levels.

Create and manage operational demand forecasts across multiple aggregation levels and time horizons.

Analyze historical sales data, evaluate demand drivers, and apply statistical models to improve forecast accuracy.

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure forecasts reflect the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Maintain and utilize demand planning software tools as the central system for forecast management.

Support management with supply risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.

Identify and implement solutions to enhance demand forecast accuracy and responsiveness.

Resolve demand-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions in supply.

Perform regular system maintenance for product, material, and vendor data.

Coordinate with internal teams to maintain accuracy and integrity of material master data.

Schedule replenishment for sales locations, e-commerce platforms, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to achieve a 98% fulfillment rate.

Optimize inventory by maintaining appropriate levels of cycle stock and safety stock to meet service goals.

Monitor daily receipts and transfers to ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods.

Support product transitions by coordinating with cross-functional teams to manage phase-ins and phase-outs.

May be asked to perform additional duties as necessary.
Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required; a degree in Operations, Finance, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is preferred.

3 years of experience in sales operations management, with prior experience and/or training in inventory or production planning.

Strong proficiency in statistics, forecasting methods, and understanding of their financial and operational impacts is essential.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word.

Proficient in the use of Production and Inventory Planning modules within SAP S/4HANA or a similar ERP system.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret system specification documents.

Capable of applying advanced mathematical concepts and performing complex calculations.

Skilled in identifying problems, gathering and analyzing data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending actionable solutions.

Ability to interpret complex technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage abstract and concrete variables.

CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or similar forecasting certification is preferred.
