The Supply Chain Coordinator will play a key role in supporting material management, procurement, and warehouse operations. This position combines purchasing, facilities coordination, and warehouse management to ensure efficient sourcing, inventory control, and operational support. The role is located at the ElectriCom Paoli, IN location.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse & Materials Coordination
- Receive, unload, and load deliveries from suppliers/vendors.
- Ensure accurate and efficient movement of materials from warehouse to work crews/trucks for field sites.
- Maintain inventory records, sort and stock shelves, and prepare inventory for pick-up/distribution.
- Schedule and perform regular inventory audits (weekly/monthly/quarterly).
- Update inventory adjustments in systems (e.g., Vista) upon receipt of material transfer/use sheets.
- Follow all safety standards and requirements.
Site Maintenance Support
- Coordinate moves of office furniture and associated items.
- Provide general maintenance services (hanging items, moving supplies, limited repairs).
- Set up and manage outside service providers (landscaping, snow removal, repairs).
Procurement & Purchasing
- Research, source, and purchase materials, tools, and equipment for office, warehouse, and job sites.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, monitor lead times, and maintain accurate records.
- Evaluate suppliers for quality, pricing, and delivery performance; negotiate favorable terms.
Material Estimating
- Research current material pricing from approved suppliers and manufacturers to maintain accurate cost data.
- Request and compare vendor quotes, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost summaries and material pricing sheets for internal review and bid submission.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, safety, and project management teams to align procurement with project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for material handling and procurement.

Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Willingness to learn warehouse operations and supply chain processes (forklift training provided).
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn inventory management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in supply chain, procurement, or warehouse operations (construction or utility industry preferred).
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
