Supply Chain Specialist

Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for supporting the end‑to‑end flow of materials and products by managing purchase orders, order entry, inventory coordination, and shipment tracking to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment. This role works closely with supply chain, warehouse, logistics, and customer operations teams to maintain data accuracy, inventory integrity, and efficient order processing. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and effective in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain purchase orders (POs), including preparation, review and accuracy verification.
  • Coordinate and support the flow of goods from sourcing through final delivery, ensuring documentation accuracy at each stage.
  • Collaborate closely with the warehouse team to ensure effective inventory control.
  • Track inventory levels and conduct inventory analysis to identify trends, shortages, excess stock, and optimization opportunities.
  • Generate and distribute weekly inventory, demand, and order status reports to operations and customer operations teams.
  • Manage inventory counts, reconcile variances, and process necessary system adjustments.
  • Support order entry and related documentation, using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) as needed.
  • Monitor and coordinate the systematic release of backorders on a daily basis to ensure timely delivery.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to orders, inventory, and status updates with professionalism via emails and or phone calls.
  • Track and update overseas shipment status, communicating progress, delays, and ETAs to the customer operations team.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and maintain accuracy in all ordering and inventory documentation.
  • Communicate effectively across departments to resolve order, inventory, or shipment‑related issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy in all processes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or customer service.
  • At least 2 years of experience in administrative or operational support roles.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Experience with 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) coordination preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
