Required Responsibilities

Supervisory and Management

• This individual supervises and manages the employees'work during the shift under the supervision of the supply supervisor.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followedper Newrest and client’s requirements.
• Communicate effectively with all crew membersand team members.
• Hold team members accountable for allexpectations.
• Assisting with inbound and outbound orders
• Inventory control
• Assist the Supply Manager with any coaching andcorrective actions.
• Assist with approving and handling questionsregarding timecards and pay.
• Other job duties may be assigned based onoperational needs.
  
  

Operations

• Provide solutions to problems duringtransportation, unloading, offloading, or any other process.
• Enforce safety processes and legal requirementsfor transportation and other processes.
• Organize regular audits on the runway and set upcorrective action plans as appropriate.
• Perform maintenance on the fleets and follow upto ensure proper safety maintenance.
• Place orders with suppliers in the computersystem
• Lead the team in conducting inventories.
• Train and mentor new employees
• Check the conformity of services according tocustomer specifications.
• Complete traceability documents (e.g., exposuretime sheet)
• Always comply with good hygiene andmanufacturing practices
• Coordinate cleaning, washing, and sanitation ofpremises by standards.
• Regular and timely attendance is expected forthe position.
• Other job duties may be assigned based onoperational needs.
  
  

Education/Experience Requirements

• At least six months of experience utilizingpallet jacks
• At least six months of sit-down forkliftexperience
• At least one year of experience leading a team(Preferably
• Ability to lift items/packages (up to 50lbs./15kg)
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to handle pressure in a fast-pacedenvironment
