Job Title: Support Engineering - Networking (Meter)

Location: Bangalore, KA, IN (Hybrid)

Workspace: This is a hybrid role. Once the Bangalore office is established, attendance will be required Tuesday through Thursday. Candidates for Bangalore must be willing to relocate to Bangalore upon starting, as the office is not yet open but will require hybrid attendance once established. Remote is available for top candidates or candidates who want to work hybrid / work weekends or nights.

Seniority
Required: 3+ years of experience in a network engineering role,​ not general IT support

Work experience
Must Have: Fast-​paced customer-​facing networking engineering experience
Required: Experience with diverse network environments and context switching.​

• Preferred: Network design and deployment experience,​ in any vertical.​ These skills are valuable for supporting customer challenges in real-​world environments where practical experience is often elevated beyond just theoretical.​

Education
Preferred: Degrees in electrical engineering or networking.​

Hard skills

• Must Have: Strong,​ hands-​on expertise in routing,​ switching,​ and wireless.​
• Must Have: Ability to troubleshoot,​ configure,​ and manage issues across all layers 1–4.​
• Must Have: Flexibility to move between technologies without hesitation—every engineer should be able to take on any customer case without passing it off.​

Preferred: Light programming/automation experience (e.​g.​,​ infrastructure as code,​ API interaction).​

Required: Willing to work hybrid in Bangalore when offices open.​

What we're looking for?
We need a highly skilled and adaptable Network Support Engineer with deep expertise across the entire network stack, including wireless, security, WAN/LAN, routing, and DNS. You should have a proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex networking problems, influencing product direction, and improving team efficiency through documentation and training. We are looking for someone comfortable with high ambiguity, energized by unique challenges, and calm under pressure. Experience with Meraki or Mist products is a strong plus, demonstrating a well-rounded and adaptable approach to networking technologies.
