Support Staff (Host, Bus, Dish)

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional host or hostess service.
  • Manage guest seating
  • Assist with bussing tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
  • Support dishwashing operations by ensuring proper handling, cleaning, and organization of dishes and utensils.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding guest needs, special requests, or service issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, host stations, and service stations in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, including phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering questions.
  • Support overall restaurant operations by assisting in guest relations efforts and ensuring a hospitable environment.

Experience

  • Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Experience working with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
  • Background in restaurant or hotel guest services enhances your ability to deliver exceptional hospitality.
  • Knowledge of serving procedures and guest relations practices helps create positive dining experiences.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
