Surety Underwriting Assistant Trainee

The Surety Underwriting Assistant Trainee will gain knowledge in assisting and supporting the surety underwriting team in the acquisition and retention of profitable business.

What you will do:

• Gain knowledge in providing administrative support for contract and commercial Surety new business and renewals.
• Learn the departmental and data processing workflows and processes.
• Attain knowledge of underwriting risk types and associated rating calculations.
• Gain understanding of Surety related documentation required for underwriting and file updates.

This position will be located in our corporate office in Sarasota, FL.

The salary range for this position is $18.60 - $28.00 hourly. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
