Surgery - General Physician Assistant

Work with Greenstaff Medical, a premier medical staffing agency to fill a locum General Surgery role, in Oakland County, MI!

Job details:

• Coverage: ASAP 31 December 2025 with the option to remain credentialed for PRN afterward
• Practice setting: Hospital-based OR with more than 20 operating rooms and 3 DaVinci robots
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8-hour shifts (approx. 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m., flexible start/end times), 40 hours per week
• Responsibilities:
  • Bedside first-assisting in robotic surgical cases (GYN, urology, general surgery, bariatrics)
  • Placement of ports and closure of port sites
  • Occasional assistance in non-robotic cases as needed
  • Occasional discharges/depart documentation and outpatient prescriptions

• EMR: Cerner

You will not be eligible for this unless you meet the following requirements:

• Board Certified (NCCPA) REQUIRED
• BLS & ACLS REQUIRED
• MI state license REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 3 years with robotic bedside first-assist experience in GYN, urology, general surgery, and bariatrics - REQUIRED
