Duties

• Assist the dentist during surgical procedures by preparing and passing instruments with precision and efficiency
• Maintain a sterile environment using aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety
• Take dental X-rays and 3D scans, accurately documenting findings for diagnosis and treatment planning
• Ensure adherence to infection control standards through proper sterilization of instruments and equipment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a dental assistant
• Strong knowledge of dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and chairside support
• Ability to operate dental imaging equipment
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Understanding of infection control practices
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and educate patients about procedures
• Certification in radiography (X-ray) & ICE is required
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
