Surgical Dental Assistant – Oral Surgery & Dental Implants

Locations: Toledo & Bowling Green, OH

Harbor Light Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – Approximately 2:00 PM

Enjoy a predictable schedule with your evenings and weekends free.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during oral surgery and dental implant procedures
• Support IV anesthesia and sedation cases
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical setups
• Take patient vitals and review medical histories
• Assist with patient recovery and discharge instructions
• Take and process X-rays and CBCT scans
• Maintain operatories, instruments, and sterilization protocols
• Work closely with surgeons and fellow clinical team members to provide outstanding patient care

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience
• Current Ohio Dental X-Ray License
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused
• Willingness to travel between our Toledo and Bowling Green office locations
• Availability to work Monday through Friday

Preferred:

• Experience with IV anesthesia or dental sedation
• Oral surgery or periodontal surgery experience
