Surgical Dental Assistant - TUESDAYS ONLY

Part-Time Surgical Dental Assistant – Oak Lane Dental (primary location) with occasional support at Hires Dental Care

Schedule: Tuesdays: 6:30 am - 4 pm

What you will be doing:

• Actively assisting our dentist chair-side with room preparation, surgical procedures, and documentation
• Supporting oral surgery workflows, including instrument preparation, sterilization, and patient monitoring during procedures
• Taking quality radiographs/x-rays as determined by our dentist
• Educating our patients regarding their treatment plans (including surgical cases) and how to maintain their oral health
• Ensuring we maintain compliance with regulatory and safety expectations, especially in surgical settings
• Assisting, as needed, other clinical team members

Our ideal candidates have:

• 1-2 years minimum of Surgical Dental Assisting experience (oral surgery or comparable experience preferred)
• Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification for Ohio
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Natural organizational skills
• Quality clinical skills with a willingness to grow, learn, and try new things

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
