The Surveillance & Camera Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of vehicle camera systems — from installation and maintenance to live surveillance and technical troubleshooting. The role involves managing a team for camera installation on logistics vehicles, leading the surveillance monitoring team, and coordinating with IT vendors to ensure smooth system performance and timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Team & Operations Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage the camera installation team and surveillance monitoring staff.
- Plan and oversee installation schedules for cameras on logistics vehicles.
- Ensure installations are completed on time and in compliance with company quality and safety standards.
- Monitor daily operations of the surveillance team to ensure all cameras and systems are functional.
- Maintain attendance, work logs, and performance reports for both teams.
Technical & IT Coordination:
- Liaise with IT service providers for resolving camera or system-related technical glitches.
- Ensure proper integration of surveillance feeds with software and monitoring platforms.
- Conduct routine system health checks and preventive maintenance.
- Oversee data backup, storage, and retrieval processes for all surveillance footage.
Process & Compliance:
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for installation, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, data security standards, and vendor SLAs.
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance and incident reports for management review.
- Continuously evaluate and implement technology upgrades for improved efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electronics, IT, or related technical field.
- 4–6 years of experience in surveillance operations, camera installation, or security system management.
- Proven ability to lead field and monitoring teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of CCTV, GPS tracking, and IT networking basics.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Must be proactive, reliable, and able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
