Under general supervision performs professional work of moderate difficulty in surveillance case work for probationers predominately evening and weekends and holidays; performs related work as assigned; establish and maintain a positive and healthy work environment.

The Mission of the Coconino County Adult Probation Department is to create a safer community by reducing the number of future crimes, thereby reducing the number of future victims. This is to be accomplished by providing to our clients individualized programming and supervision to include:

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES (Illustrative Only)
- Provides closely structured supervision of offenders
- Monitors offenders at multiple sites
- Prepares, collects and maintains reports, supervision information
- Coordinates and cooperates with criminal justice agencies
- Performs urinalysis and breath testing, searches, employment contacts, arrests, transportation and detention of violators
- Prepares and presents court testimony
- Participates in planning and evaluating offender progress
Essential functions of this position include: driving; walking; working with and around others; hearing and speech for ordinary conversation; touch and finger dexterity for computer work
