Directly supervise Surveillance Investigators in the performance of their duties to ensure that all NIGC and Tribal gaming ordinances are being followed.
- Train new investigators to perform their duties and provide refresher training for experienced investigators.
- Assign review assignments and maintain investigator staff schedule.
- Work the surveillance positions in the absence of an investigator or during emergencies.
- Supervise the daily surveillance log for accuracy and completeness.
- Interface with casino/hotel management on surveillance and compliance issues
- Ensure that all security equipment is in good working order.
- Assist local law enforcement by making duplicate cd’s/ tapes and still photos from stored surveillance cd’s/tapes.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High School diploma or GED required. Knowledge of National Indian Gaming Commission licensing and compliance regulations. At least three years experience in a law enforcement, security/surveillance or gaming position (preferably in a supervisory role).
- Valid drivers license and the ability to obtain a NIGC key license.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified/sensitive information. The Employee must be competent with various PC based software programs and standard office equipment. Must be able to establish and maintain productive working relationship with co-workers and management and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Thorough knowledge of all casino games. Thorough knowledge of table/slot cheat/scams. Must have superior skills with various PC based software programs. Ability to develop and maintain a pleasant and effective working relationship with staff and guests.
- Work schedules may vary based on business needs and may require availability for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. Position may require overtime.
