Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, collecting spatial data, and supporting construction projects through precise measurement and mapping. Duties

• Conduct land surveys using specialised equipment to determine precise measurements of land parcels and construction sites.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and plans using CAD and GIS software such as AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
• Assist in the planning and execution of survey operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Manage spatial data efficiently, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to provide accurate survey data for design and development purposes.
• Support construction activities by providing topographical information, setting out boundaries, and verifying site measurements.
• Maintain all surveying equipment, ensuring calibration and proper functioning before use.
• Ensure all survey activities adhere to relevant legal standards, health & safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and other CAD software for mapping and data visualisation.
• Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and best practices.
• Experience with land surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS systems, and levels.
• Ability to manage large datasets accurately using specialised data management tools.
• Familiarity with construction processes to effectively support project planning and execution.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and documentation.
• Good communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
