Position Summary

A senior finance leadership role responsible for enterprise planning, commercial finance partnership, strategic finance, and performance management across a global sports technology business. Based in NYC and reporting to the CFO, this role leads financial planning and strategic decision-making across the company's global operating segments. The SVP serves as a key advisor to the Executive Team, translating corporate strategy into operational plans that drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide FP&A, annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Partner with Commercial, Product, and Operations leadership on financial insights, pricing, contract economics, and ROI analysis
• Support Board reporting, investor messaging, earnings preparation, and performance reviews
• Drive planning discipline, forecasting accuracy, and financial accountability across the organization
• Evaluate commercial opportunities, M&A activity, and strategic initiatives through financial modelling
• Build and develop a high-performing global FP&A and strategic finance team
• Deliver performance insights tied to key business drivers, seasonal trends, and emerging risks

Experience & Profile

• 15+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or commercial finance leadership
• Background in high-growth technology, media, or digital business environments
• Proven experience leading global finance teams within complex international organizations
• Strong understanding of subscription, rights-based, and variable revenue models
• Experience with Board reporting and investor-facing activities in a public or PE-backed company
• Advanced financial modelling, systems, and data analysis skills
