The Swimming Pool Installer is responsible for the on-site installation and assembly of swimming pools and related systems. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, preparing sites, installing structural, plumbing, and filtration systems, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. The installer works closely with engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver functional, durable, and visually appealing swimming pool installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install swimming pools according to design plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Prepare and level sites, ensuring proper excavation, base preparation, and drainage.
- Assemble and install pool structures, plumbing lines, pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting systems.
- Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, and construction teams for integrated installation.
- Test and inspect filtration, circulation, and water treatment systems for functionality.
- Apply waterproofing, tiling, and finishing materials as per design and quality requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and project timelines.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues during installation or commissioning stages.
- Maintain accurate records of installation work, materials used, and any modifications made.
- Provide post-installation support and brief clients on operation and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or ITI certification in Civil, Mechanical, or Plumbing-related fields.
- 2–5 years of experience in swimming pool installation or related construction work.
- Knowledge of pool plumbing, filtration, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation manuals.
- Skilled in using power tools, plumbing equipment, and measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork.
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
Preferred:
- Experience with fiberglass, concrete, or vinyl pool installations.
- Familiarity with automated pool control systems or energy-efficient pool technologies.
