Swimming Pool Lifeguard

Job Summary

The Swimming Pool Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of hotel guests using the swimming pool and recreational water facilities. The role involves constant surveillance, enforcing pool rules, and providing immediate assistance and first aid in case of emergencies, while delivering excellent guest service in line with hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of the swimming pool and surrounding areas.
• Ensure all guests comply with pool safety rules and hotel regulations.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including rescues and first aid.
• Administer CPR, first aid, and use lifesaving equipment when required.
• Conduct routine safety checks of pool facilities and report hazards or maintenance issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of poolside areas as per hotel standards.
• Record and report all incidents and accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests at all times.
• Coordinate with security, engineering, and medical teams during emergencies.
• Attend regular training sessions and safety drills as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Lifeguard Certification (Dubai Municipality / Internationally recognized).
• Valid CPR, First Aid & AED certification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Lifeguard, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Strong swimming and rescue skills.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of pool safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly under pressure.
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused attitude with a professional appearance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 per month
