swimming pool supervisor

The Swimming Pool Supervisor is responsible for supervising the construction, installation, and finishing of swimming pools as part of interior fit-out and construction projects. The role ensures that all pool works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project timelines while coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision & Execution

• Supervise day-to-day swimming pool construction activities including excavation, waterproofing, tiling, MEP coordination, and finishing works.
• Ensure pool construction complies with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor quality of workmanship and materials used on site.
• Coordinate pool works with other interior fit-out trades (tiling, electrical, plumbing, finishing).

Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with Project Manager, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Prepare daily site reports and progress updates.
• Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and manpower.
• Assist in planning work schedules to meet project deadlines.

Quality Control

• Conduct inspections at various stages: waterproofing, pressure testing, tiling, grouting, and commissioning.
• Ensure proper installation of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, lighting, and control systems.
• Identify and resolve construction issues and defects promptly.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Ensure all works comply with site safety regulations and company HSE policies.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers follow safe work practices.
• Report safety violations, incidents, and near misses.

Testing & Commissioning

• Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover of swimming pools.
• Ensure proper chemical balancing and water quality during commissioning.
• Support final inspections and snag rectification prior to handover.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in swimming pool construction or fit-out projects.
• Experience in interior fit-out or high-end residential/commercial projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of waterproofing systems, pool finishes, and pool MEP services.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
