Swimming Pool Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Swimming Pool Technician to handle the maintenance, cleaning, and repair of swimming pools and related equipment. The ideal candidate should have technical knowledge of pool systems, water treatment, and safety procedures to ensure pools remain clean, safe, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of swimming pools, including vacuuming, brushing, and skimming.
• Monitor and maintain proper water chemistry levels such as chlorine, pH, and other chemicals.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, valves, and piping systems.
• Conduct regular checks on pool circulation and filtration systems.
• Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and chemical usage.
• Respond to emergency maintenance or repair requests when required.
• Assist in installation and replacement of pool equipment and accessories.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Swimming Pool Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
• Knowledge of swimming pool systems, water treatment, and chemical handling.
• Ability to operate and maintain pool cleaning and maintenance equipment.
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge related to pool systems.
• Familiarity with safety standards and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and maintenance schedules.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is an advantage.
• Experience in commercial or residential pool maintenance.
• Knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations related to swimming pools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
