Job Title: Switchyard Maintenance Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking Engineer with minimum 3 year experience in operation and maintenance work at 400kV and above switch yard.

Job Responsibilities:

· Monitor electrical parameters (voltage, current, power factor, frequency, etc.) in 220/400/765 kV switchyard during the shift.

· Supervise the operation of circuit breakers, isolators, and transformers during load transfer or maintenance activities.

· Ensure safe and proper switching procedures as per standard operating protocols (SOPs).

· Coordinate with the grid or utility for synchronization, load management, and shutdown activities

· Perform routine and preventive maintenance of switchyard equipment — circuit breakers (SF6, VCB), CTs, PTs, isolators, LA, bus bars, and transformers.

· Execute corrective and breakdown maintenance with minimum downtime.

· Maintain earthing systems, control & relay panels, and DC systems (batteries, chargers).

· Handover shift with detailed information about ongoing work, pending jobs, and abnormalities.

Qualification:

· Diploma / B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering.

Skills:

· Strong understanding of high-voltage systems and safety procedures.

· Ability to analyze tripping and fault events.

· Good communication, documentation, and shift coordination skills.

· Willingness to work in rotational shifts and emergency callouts.

Pay: ₹20,178.61 - ₹50,000.56 per month
