System Admin

Job Overview:

LAWAZEM is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented System Admin to join our IT team. As a System Admin, you will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our servers and IT infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in supporting our organizational operations by managing networks, security systems, and software applications.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software
• Manage user accounts and access rights, ensuring compliance with security policies
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
• Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive information and systems
• Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity and availability
• Document system configurations and procedures for operational continuity
• Collaborate with IT departments and stakeholders to support and improve IT systems
• Stay updated on IT trends and technologies to recommend improvements and upgrades
• Prepare reports on system performance and project status
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and server management
• Experience with network management and security systems
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Knowledge of database management and backup solutions
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus
