Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior System Administrator to support day-to-day IT operations across the organization. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, employee IT support, basic network and server assistance, and coordination with vendors to ensure smooth and uninterrupted IT services.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, learning new tools, and working in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities User & Device Support
- Diagnose and resolve laptop/desktop hardware and software issues (battery, display, keyboard, Wi-Fi, OS issues).
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and antivirus tools.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities including system access and device setup.
- Assist with troubleshooting automation or internal IT systems.
Network & Connectivity
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, and internet connectivity issues.
- Support conferencing tools (Zoom, internal meeting setups).
- Ensure uninterrupted access to internal network resources.
Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain hardware and software inventory records.
- Track allocation, repairs, and replacements of laptops and peripherals.
- Assist in periodic asset audits and documentation.
Server & Email Support
- Assist in basic server monitoring and routine health checks.
- Handle email-related issues using Outlook and Zimbra.
Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with IT vendors for hardware procurement, installations, renewals, and support requests.
- Assist with quotations and follow-ups related to IT assets and services.
IT & Facilities Support
- Assist with IT setup for meeting rooms and office infrastructure.
- Support basic power backup and IT facility-related requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows/macOS systems.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with email tools like Outlook or Zimbra.
- Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
Nice to Have
- Basic exposure to cloud platforms (GCP / AWS).
- Familiarity with Office 365, Google Workspace, or remote support tools.
- Interest or exposure to automation, scripting, or AI-enabled IT tools.
