System Administrator – Shipping Software Operations

Job Summary

We are seeking a System Administrator to maintain, monitor, and support shipping software systems and

operational process workflows. The candidate will ensure smooth system performance, software availability,

data accuracy, user support, and integration between shipping, warehouse, and logistics systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor shipping and logistics software applications
• Ensure uninterrupted software workflow for shipping operations
• Configure and manage servers, databases, and network systems supporting shipping software
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and connectivity issues
• Monitor shipment process flow and system performance
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
• Perform system backups, updates, and disaster recovery procedures
• Coordinate with software vendors and IT teams for upgrades and issue resolution
• Maintain documentation of system configurations and operational procedures
• Monitor cybersecurity and system security compliance
• Provide technical support and training to shipping department staff

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux systems
• Experience 3 Year + with shipping/logistics software and ERP systems
• Understanding of network administration and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or SQL Server
• Knowledge of backup and recovery systems
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
• Ability to analyze and improve process workflows
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
