General Purpose: As a System Analyst, the primary focus is on leveraging technical expertise and analytical skills to ensure the credit union systems and applications are optimized, running efficiently and are kept up to date and collaborate with other business units to drive continuous improvement and create efficiencies in the credit union and enhance member experience through innovative technology solutions.


Fundamental

  • Responsible to maintain the highest standards of Integrity, Personal Responsibility, Sense of Community, and Teamwork by self-example and monitoring of staff within and outside Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union.
  • Responsible for building member loyalty through an uncompromised commitment to meeting and exceeding members’ expectations.
  • Responsible for ensuring day-to-day activities are consistent with credit union overall goals.
  • Responsible for developing and maintain relationships with credit union members by determining member needs and maximizing all opportunities to offer credit union products and services.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Is the primary administrator for our document imaging solution. Continually looking for ways to automate processes and create efficiencies.
  • Is the primary administrator of the accounting software.
  • Work with Senior Systems Analyst to create, support, maintain, and test the credit unions automated software solutions.
  • Performs upgrades, maintenance, and testing related to the credit union core application software(s).
  • Work with Senior Systems Analyst in the deployment and installation of any internal or external systems that uses SQL/Oracle server.
  • Work with Senior Systems Analyst on system and application performance monitoring and benchmarks.
  • Serve as a level 2 technician on 24/7 support related to automation and core applications.
  • Works with third-party vendors for application and database analysis of internal and external systems.
  • Ensures all daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly programs run correctly and timely.
  • Develop and implement user-training programs as required.
  • Stay up to date with information technology related to the credit union.
  • Assist with disaster recovery planning, configuration, and performs testing for servers and various databases.
  • Participate in evaluations of third-party software and hardware and recommendations.
  • Assist in developing/administering/supporting databases in the credit union environment.
  • Works with vendors to review, evaluate, design, implement and maintain credit union databases to ensure all databases adhere to credit union backup/recovery policies.
  • Develop logical workflows for automated business processing and produce workflows that focus on user processes and problems.
  • Work closely with the Senior Systems analyst and CTO for problem resolution.
  • Prepares system documentation and procedures.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and correct problems with any of the above.
  • Completes all other tasks, assignments or functions as assigned and/or required.

Job Qualifications (Knowledge)

  • Strong knowledge of Continuous OpCon automation platform
  • Strong knowledge of Fiserv DNA core and its related entities, including database structure, SAF and CMC.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as SQL, PowerShell, Python, and batch scripting
  • Knowledge of OnBase application.
  • Experience with business applications based on client server model.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of business continuity planning, auditing and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems and SQL queries
  • Strong knowledge of day end processes and dependencies of each job.

Job Qualifications (Education/Experience)

  • Associate’s degree in computer science/information systems/business or two years equivalent experience with a minimum of one-year continuous, progressive experience as SQL Service DBA or other commercially available relational database products.
  • Demonstrated understanding of server operating systems, backup and recovery systems, Storage Area Networks, and virtualization technologies (VMWare).
  • Excellent command of SQL language, data retrieval, data manipulation.
  • Strong background/experience with network operating systems & relational database administration.

Job Type: Full-time Exempt
Pay: $28.61 - $42.93 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

The ideal candidate will be located within reasonable commuting distance of our Baxter location. The ability to work in this office as required for departmental or company-wide initiatives as necessary.
