System Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a System Engineer responsible for IT infrastructure deployment, maintenance, and onsite technical implementation. This role focuses on practical system setup, troubleshooting, and infrastructure installation to support internal operations and client projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and IT equipment.
• Perform system deployment, upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance.
• Provide day-to-day IT support by troubleshooting hardware, software, and system issues.
• Support virtualization platforms and basic cloud system administration.
• Participate in onsite installation and commissioning of IT infrastructure.
• Perform low-voltage installation including network cabling, rack setup, equipment installation, and cable management.
• Assist with installation of network devices such as switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Support system migration, backup, and recovery operations.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to complete project implementation.
• Maintain technical documentation and installation records.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux systems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, VPN).
• Experience with hardware deployment or onsite IT installation preferred.
• Ability to work onsite and perform physical installation tasks when required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Mandarin required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
