We are seeking a System Engineer to design, build, and manage our cloud platform and application servers, developing reliable and scalable systems that elevate our business operations. We’re looking for a professional with deep expertise in cloud and open-source technologies, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for continuous learning.

Job Description:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and monitor application servers and on-premise cloud infrastructure,
• Conduct capacity planning, performance analysis, and incident management,
• Ensure maximum system availability and uptime across all platforms,
• Analyze and resolve issues related to servers, applications, and software,
• Design and build platforms with a strong focus on automation using scripting languages and automation tools,
• Apply disaster recovery and business continuity best practices,
• Support application development lifecycles and continuous deployment processes,
• Adhere to company standards, best practices, and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field,
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Openshift, Infrastructure as Code, and Public Cloud Platforms (Azure preferred),
• Hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat or Weblogic/Websphere,
• Proficiency in Java runtime problem determination, administration, and performance tuning,
• Experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Git, Helm, Terraform, Azure DevOps),
• Experience with shell and Python scripting,
• Familiarity with ELK, RabbitMQ, Redis, and Kafka,
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments (Ubuntu and/or RHEL),
• Understanding of network and security virtualization platforms,
• Strong communication, coordination, documentation, and reporting skills,
• Proactive, analytical, motivated, and result-oriented team player,
• Up-to-date on industry trends with the ability to clearly articulate new technologies and approaches,
• Ability to generate ideas and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in platform delivery.
