Job Title: System Engineer & Network Administrator (Multi‑Location)

About the Role
We’re seeking a hands‑on System Engineer & Network Administrator to own and operate our multi‑site infrastructure. You’ll manage Fortinet firewalls (SD‑WAN/VPN), Cisco/Omada networks, Windows Server/AD services, Synology NAS and Surveillance Station, and biometric/access‑control systems—while providing reliable day‑to‑day IT support and enabling secure connectivity across Pakistan, the USA, and Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
Network & Security
- Manage and monitor Fortinet 60F (SD‑WAN, IPSec/SSL VPNs, multi‑ISP redundancy, bandwidth priorities, security policies).
- Administer multi‑ISP connectivity with redundancy, load balancing, and failover.
- Configure and maintain LAN/Wi‑Fi (Cisco switches, Omada controller/APs).
- Troubleshoot LAN/Wi‑Fi/ISP/VPN issues and implement structured cabling best practices.
Systems & Infrastructure
- Install, configure, and manage Windows Server roles (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO).
- Ensure secure, stable LAN/WAN services for all users.
- Maintain Synology Surveillance Station (monitoring, alerts, redundancy).
- Administer Synology NAS for backups and file sharing.
- Support planned migrations (email/hosting, AD, cloud integration).
- Manage biometric/access‑control systems across all sites.
IT Operations & Support
- Onboard users; provision laptops/desktops/apps; resolve tickets for local and remote teams.
- Support the customer support LAN for uninterrupted VoIP operations.
- Maintain IT asset inventory (barcode tagging, asset records).
- Coordinate with vendors/ISPs and external partners for projects and escalations.
Deployment & Maintenance
- Lead rollouts of new servers, LANs, endpoints.
- Set up Windows‑based server environments with centralized policies/authentication.
- Maintain documentation (network diagrams, cabling layouts, server configs).
- Perform upgrades, patching, and preventive maintenance.
Cross‑Site Coordination
- Enable secure remote access to U.S. and Mexico systems.
- Provide remote support to overseas non‑technical staff.
- Collaborate with HR/Admin on IT setups during expansions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years in system administration & network engineering.
- Hands‑on with firewalls (Fortinet preferred), VPNs, SD‑WAN.
- Strong Windows Server (AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO) administration.
- Proven LAN/WAN deployments, structured cabling, and Wi‑Fi setups.
- Experience with Surveillance Systems (NVR/VMS) and NAS storage (Synology a plus).
- Familiarity with email hosting (cPanel/Google Workspace).
- Strong troubleshooting across network/hardware/software.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and support remote teams.
- Excellent communication with international teams.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Certifications: CCNA/CCNP, MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA Security+/Network+.
- Experience with Cisco switches and Omada Controller.
- Knowledge of IT asset management (Excel or software).
- Prior work in a multi‑site/global environment.
Work Setup & Other Details
- Schedule: Full‑time; on‑call rotation for critical incidents as needed.
- Travel: Occasional, as required for deployments.
