Purpose: The Systems Analyst collaborates closely with Project Managers, project team members, and clients to gather, document, and manage both business and technical requirements. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including business requirement documents, software configuration records, and other supporting materials. In addition to documentation, the Systems Analyst is directly responsible for configuring the software to meet client specifications, using approved settings, features, and customization options. Key responsibilities include researching and recommending solutions within the existing product suite, documenting project needs (such as workflows and system behavior), effectively communicating solutions to clients, performing hands-on configuration within the software, and ensuring that all business requirements are accurately implemented and aligned with client objectives and project goals.
Work is remote from home using ACF supplied hardware. Must have reliable internet access at home.

Primary Objectives:
Configuration: Perform hands-on configuration of software systems to meet client requirements. This includes selecting appropriate settings, parameters, and customization options within ACF’s existing product capabilities to deliver optimized, functional solutions.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all software configurations, including version history, settings, and customizations. Create and update documentation to support knowledge sharing, repeatability, and effective troubleshooting across teams.
Requirements Alignment: Research and recommend system configurations and workflows that meet customer needs while staying within the bounds of ACF’s contracted project scope and product capabilities.
Knowledge Management: Create, update, and maintain ACF knowledge base articles to ensure valuable, accurate, and easily accessible information for internal and external users.
Subject Matter Expertise: Actively participate in project meetings as a business and technical SME, offering insight on both requirements and system capabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, developers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of configured solutions. Provide guidance and share expertise across functional teams using an agile approach.
Security & Compliance: Ensure that all configurations adhere to organizational security standards and industry compliance requirements, safeguarding sensitive client data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Determine operational objectives by understanding the customers’ business functions; gathering information; evaluating requirements and translating that into a meaningful requirement document easily consumed by stakeholders.
Maintain strong configuration knowledge by preparing implementation-ready configuration packages, staying up to date on product changes, and collaborating with subject matter experts when needed.
Ability to learn and understand complex product configurations and overcome technical barriers by engaging subject matter experts.
Provide detailed and robust product, solutions, and configuration knowledge to project delivery teams.
Improve technical solutions by studying current practices, designing modifications, and recommending optimal configurations to solve customer problems.
Identify essential processes and knowledge gaps and take ownership of the resolutions.
Maintain customer confidence by keeping product information and personal knowledge current.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing results with high quality, promoting collaboration, and fostering a harmonious environment.
Suggest changes to management using analytics to support recommendations; Actively participate in the delivery of approved processes or technology changes.
Be the main driver in the process to support/assist project managers in gathering requirements.

Job Requirements & Skills:
Degree in Software Engineering or a technically related field or equivalent related work experience in a multi-site software services environment
Computer – NetSuite, Microsoft® Office, Microsoft® SQL, Visio, Axure, Jira, MS Teams.
Technical – Knowledge of Microsoft® SQL, web services, and software architecture
Literary – Excellent oral and written communication skills
Research – Ability to research technical products/solutions and learn new applications quickly
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work within a team environment
Ability to have critical conversations in a constructive non-confrontational manner
Work Flow Mapping and Analysis
Strong skills in process mapping and flowchart creation using tools such as Axure, Draw.io, Visio, or similar.
