We are recruiting exclusively for on-site candidates at our Hood River, Oregon headquarters.
Job Summary
Designs, develops, integrates, and supports engineering systems developed for the Aerospace industry. This includes defining product use, testing integrations and managing design reviews.
Essential Job Functions
Develops the planning, organization, implementation and maintenance of requirements management processes to deliver safety critical systems.
Evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance, functional and regulatory requirements.
Model and analyze overall system requirements and performance, including top-down & bottom-up traceability of requirements to verification.
Develop software and hardware architectures/partitioning, including definition of interfaces and use cases.
Develop, perform and document system verification testing to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
Coordinate with engineering functions to allocate and define lower-level requirements.
Perform design analysis for proof-of-concept validation.
Develop, maintain and optimize systems engineering processes.
Support certification activities.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
BS degree in Aerospace, Systems engineering or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering
Software development experience required
Familiarity with software architecture required
Ability to develop hardware and software architectures.
Experienced in product certifications FAA is preferred
