We’re looking for a Systems Engineer with strong coding skills and hands-on experience building automation workflows and AI-enabled solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable with n8n and uses AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Codex to ship reliable, scalable integrations and internal systems.Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain n8n automations (workflows, triggers, webhooks, error handling).
- Develop and maintain integrations with REST/GraphQL APIs (auth, rate limits, pagination, logging).
- Implement solutions that leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude / Codex) to accelerate development, analysis, and automation.
- Work with Git and engineering best practices (version control, PRs, documentation).
- Connect internal systems with external tools (CRM, email, calendars, databases, etc.).
- Monitor and optimize workflows (observability, alerts, retries, performance).
- Document processes and create clear runbooks so the team can operate and scale what’s built.
Requirements (Must-have)
- Proven experience with n8n in real-world projects (production preferred).
- Strong coding background (ideally JavaScript/TypeScript; Python is a plus).
- Experience using Cursor and AI assistants like Claude and/or Codex in your development workflow.
- Practical knowledge of webhooks, APIs, JSON, OAuth2/API keys.
- Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication.
Nice-to-have (Plus)
- Docker, deployments, Linux, CI/CD experience.
- Databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or Redis.
- Experience with other automation tools (Zapier/Make) and ability to compare/choose the right approach.
- CRM/email/calendar integrations (HubSpot, Gmail/Google Calendar, etc.).
- Experience with prompting, output evaluation, and security/privacy considerations when using AI in workflows.
